Iceland 2026
The Resilience Reset

Life can get really busy, and everyday demands can quickly take over and wear us out. Throw in a couple of big life changes or challenges, and you have the perfect storm that can make us vulnerable to burnout and breakdowns.

The Resilience Reset offers you a chance to slow down, check in and return to yourself at the end of the year. Our five days together are a carefully curated mix of mindfulness and movement practices, coaching - both in workshop and individual settings - and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

All set in the magical landscape of the Icelandic winter. With only a handful of daylight hours, this is the perfect location to get cosy and turn inwards. Read more below for information on accommodation, schedule and what is included in your retreat experience.

The final schedule is subject to change and dependent on the number of participants and who joins as we try to tailor the programme as much as possible to the requests of the group. The final retreat schedule will be available on or before arrival day.

We reserve the right to make last-minute changes according to weather conditions and group requests.

FAQs

Which airport should I fly to, and how do I get to the house?

The best airport is Keflavik (KEF). We can help arrange transfers (the house is approximately 45 mins from the airport), but the transfer cost is not included in the price. However, if multiple people request transfers around the same time, we should be able to secure better pricing.

How many people are on this retreat?

Depending on the way rooms are booked, there will up to eight guests on this retreat. It's purposely designed to be a smaller group to help us connect deeper.

Can I come if I am a beginner?

ALL are welcome. Some of you will have practiced with Kat  before, so you know her style of teaching. If you haven't, rest assured all practices will be open to all levels. Even if you are newer to the practice of yoga, Kat will offer modifications throughout classes.

Can I come alone? I'm nervous

YES COME ALONE! It's a natural question to ask, and so many people are nervous about coming alone to a retreat like this; however, embarking on an experience like this alone can be really transformative, exactly because it is a little scary and you may even make friends for life.

Can I bring my partner and children?

Partners are more than welcome to book onto the retreat if they are willing to fully participate. Children are not allowed.

What do I need to bring? What do I wear?
  • It's Iceland in December, so please do dress for the weather and bring warm clothes, coats, gloves, hats and sturdy, comfortable shoes.

  • Our classes will be taking place in a heated home, so we suggest you bring layers to accommodate both dynamic and slower, restorative practices.

  • The house is equipped with bedding, towels, hairdryers, and basic toiletries, but please do bring anything specific you would like to be comfortable.

  • We recommend you bring your favourite journal and pen as well as anything else that makes you feel at home and supports your spiritual wellbeing.

  • And don't forget any medications you need!

Do I need travel insurance? Is the retreat refundable?

We strongly recommend you book travel insurance including cancellation cover for your trip. Iceland's weather can be unpredictable and travel can be impacted especially in winter months.

The deposit is non-refundable once paid. If you need to cancel your participation after booking, please reach out to us to discuss transfer or refund options. No cancellations are possible within 30 days of the retreat start.
