Daily life can take its toll on our minds and bodies and it adds up over days, weeks, months and even years. Sitting still for too long causes a reduction in range of motion; an overwhelming workload, a busy personal schedule and neverending to-do lists take their toll on our mental health; and even the, often vigorous, exercise we do to manage it all puts stress on our body.

Additionally, most of us hold old trauma inside ourselves - both physical and emotional - that often contributes to muscular tightness and rigidity in our connective tissue.

Thai Yoga Massage

Also affectionally called 'the lazy person's yoga', Thai Yoga Massage combines passive stretching with traditional kneading techniques. It is a floor-based practice with the receiver of the massage laying down fully dressed in comfortable, loose clothing. The practitioner moves them into a variety of shapes to work deep into muscle, connective tissue and energy lines.

What to expect from a session with me

A session usually lasts around 90-100 minutes end-to-end as we will spend a few minutes preparing for your session and I always offer time at the end to soak up the benefits of the practice and ask questions.

In terms of location, I can offer you a comfortable, clean and welcoming space in my home studio or I can meet you in a place of your choosing. We will discuss what works best and how to prepare at the time of booking.
